Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic
dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct
moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. It is also used to
augment lips.
Restylane is the only cosmetic filler made
of non-animal based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural
substance that already exists in the body and is used to provide volume
and fullness to the skin. Because Restylane uses a non-animal based
hyaluronic acid, any risk of animal-based disease transmission or
allergic reaction is virtually eliminated.
USES- Restylane injections are used for
wrinkle correction and lip augmentation.
SAFETY- Restylane has been used worldwide
safely since 1996. Because Restylane is non-animal based and fully
biocompatible, allergy testing is not required. There is virtually no
risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reactions. The
most commonly reported side effects are temporary redness and swelling
at the injection site.
TREATMENT PROCEDURE- Restylane is
injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts with an ultra fine
needle, resulting in minimal discomfort, The procedure is simple and
convenient and results are practically instantaneous. To optimize your
comfort during the short procedure, the treatment area may be
anesthetized.
POST TREATMENT- Some common
injection-related reactions might occur, such as redness, swelling,
discomfort, itching, discoloration or tenderness at the injection site.
Typically these side effects are
short-lived, usually lasting only one to three days after the injection.
RESULTS- Results are immediate and
impressive. Take years off your face without looking “obvious”.
Restylane lasts twice as long as collagen,
so treatments are typically scheduled twice a year. Evidence shows that
having a touch-up treatment before the product has fully dissipated will
enhance the lasting effect of Restylane.
